Board Members
Each of our board members has spent decades of summers, and other vacation time, in and around Long Pond and know the area intimately. They are all also experienced in and dedicated to natural resource preservation. President David Keehn - David is an attorney who has practiced environmental law for over 25 years. His undergraduate degree is in geology, from Beloit College. He currently serves as Vice President of the Lantern Hill Valley Association, the Connecticut not-for-profit organization representing the interests of residents of the Long Pond/Bush Pond area. His J.D. is from the University of Tulsa College of Law. |
Secretary
Susannah Black - Susannah is an experienced organizer with various not-for-profit entities. She currently serves as Communications Coordinator with the New York Harbor Foundation, where she works on programs focused on education for sustainability and restoration. She holds degrees from Amherst College (B.A.) and Boston University (M.A.). Treasurer Kelsey McKee - Growing up with a deep appreciation of the outdoors, Kelsey became concerned with the health of our natural resources while working in an environmental laboratory. She is passionate about preserving our natural resources and open spaces for future generations. Currently she is the Review Program and Quality Director for the nonprofit Organic Materials Review Institute. Kelsey holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University.
